Danny Briere - Founder, President and CEO Danny is a successful entrepreneur and recognized technology visionary. His extensive professional experience as a consultant, author, speaker and journalist led to his vision for mBLAST. Danny is the founder of TeleChoice (www.telechoice.com), a company he built into one of the premiere communications industry consulting groups. He is also one of the original telecom strategists, having advised carriers, vendors, regulators, startups, and governments for more than 20 years. Danny has built a reputation for identifying trends across technologies ranging from telecommunications to consumer electronics and is frequently quoted in The New York Times, USA Today, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, and The Financial Times. He is also a long-time contributing editor for Network World and columnist and contributor to other leading publications such as Telephony and Telecommunications Magazine and a frequent speaker at a wide range of industry events. Danny also regularly consults with the leading Wall Street financial brokerage houses and venture capitalist firms. Danny's ability to identify new noteworthy, new, industry trends, well before the industry as a whole recognizes them, has led to early exploitation of opportunities in wireless networking, home networking, DSL, PON, VoIP, VoD, and network-hosted applications. Paul Pritchard - Chief Technology Officer Paul participates in the strategic development and planning of mBLAST services and provides technical direction and design specifications for their development. Paul designs, develops, and implements mBLAST systems as well as supervises systems developers.He supports all phases of the customer provisioning process and customizes mBLAST to meet client needs. Paul brings over 20 years of executive-level management experience as well as applied experience in software development, business systems architecture, and database modeling, covering a broad range of industries and applications. In addition to mBLAST, Paul has been involved with the development of another startup. Paul earned his BA from Grace University Michelle Finn - Vice President of Finance and Administration Michelle has over 15 years of financial industry experience, most recently as Controller and Treasurer of TeleChoice, Inc. There she managed the financial and administrative activities of the firm which included accounting, audit, tax, purchasing, legal, human resources and supervision of the entire administrative staff. Prior to joining TeleChoice, Michelle was a commercial and retail banker with Chase and Bank of America for five years. As a commercial banker with Chase, she was in the Private Banking Group, catering to the Bank's high net worth individuals and their corporations, handling all of their credit and investment needs. Before entering the banking industry, Michelle worked on Capitol Hill, doing research for Congressman Thomas J. Bliley, Jr., recently retired Chairman of the Energy and Commerce Committee. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and French from Denison University. Sue O'Keefe - Director of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships Sue joined mBLAST from Telecommunications Magazine, where she most recently held the position of publisher, overseeing all sales, marketing and business development functions of the magazine and its associated web-based products. Before that, she served as the magazine’s Editor in Chief. Telecommunications Magazine is a leading industry publication and website devoted to global service provider technologies and deployments. Sue started her career in newspapers, as a sports editor at the New Haven Register and then The Hartford Courant. Moving to Boston to attend graduate school, she worked as an adjunct professor in the Northeastern University School of Journalism, teaching both undergraduate and honors editing courses. She also has worked as a business editor at The Boston Herald. She has won writing awards from the New England Press Association and the American Society of Business Publication Editors. Sue graduated with a BA from the University of Connecticut with a dual major in Journalism and History. She received her MA Summa Cum Laude from Northeastern University. Edward Ferris - Vice President, Information Technology Ed manages mBLAST's relationships with its outside IS partners. He brings over two decades of Information Systems design and management to mBLAST, with extensive experience as a CIO, CTO, IS director, network manager and consultant. Ed focuses on innovative and robust solutions to support the company's distributed and mobile work force, as well as supporting mBLAST's client base through the company's Web sites and other electronic products. Prior to joining mBLAST in 1999, Ed was Director of Information Systems for the Professional Development Group, a technical training firm where he successfully created and managed an IT department through a period of over 200 percent growth, while simultaneously rolling out new systems company-wide and overseeing the development of custom applications. He developed process and workflow systems to support the company's growth. He also helped define products and develop new product delivery systems to shorten deliver times to customers. Previous to his tenure at the Professional Development Group, Ed was IT Manager and Consultant for Analysis Group / Integral Inc. Ed helped develop group communications systems and knowledge sharing environments in support of a highly mobile, global consulting group. He has also been a Project Manager at Media 1, Inc. and the proprietor of his own multimedia design and consulting firm. Leslie Rutledge - Director of Sales Leslie joined mBLAST from Cision US (formerly Bacon's Information, Inc), where she was Senior Business Development Manager for the East Region. Leslie grew the Washington DC and Chicago account teams from scratch and consistently managed them to finish above established regional sales goals. She earned MVP of New Business Sales Award in 2004 and the company's President's Club Award in 2005, 2006 and 2007. Leslie's background in selling into the media relations market is notable for its overlap with mBLAST's goals in the same market. Leslie started her career in the Paper industry, first for Midland Paper and then for WWF Paper in the Midwest. At WWF Paper, Leslie developed and implemented a training program for a 15 member sales team which, beginning in 1999, became the model used for training of all new sales employees.
