mBLAST's Awards Management Solution Selected by the Consumer Electronics Association for the International CES Innovations 2008 Design and Engineering Awards
World's largest consumer technology tradeshow, and North America's largest tradeshow, selects mBLAST Mansfield Center, CT (August 1, 2007) - The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) has selected mBLAST's Awards Management Solution to manage its Innovations 2008 Design and Engineering awards for next year's International CES show in Las Vegas, January 7-10, 2008. mBLAST's media and marketing relationship management (MMRM) system is the first marketing software platform to offer web-based software-on-demand for the automation and management of awards programs. It also offers event organizers automated media accreditation solutions as well as EventSync, which allows event organizers to easily publicize their events across the Web. The International CES show is the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow, and North America's largest annual tradeshow of any kind. The 2007 CES attracted more than 140,000 attendees from 140 countries during its industry-only tradeshow in Las Vegas in January. "The selection by CES of mBLAST to run their Innovations awards is validation that web-based-software solutions linking vendors, conference awards programs and ultimately buyers together over the web make sense," said Danny Briere, founder and CEO of mBLAST. "We were selected by CEA to replace their existing in-house awards software, and are excited to be running the awards through our web-based solution for this prestigious show." The Innovations Design and Engineering Awards honor superior design and engineering among the year's most technically advanced consumer electronics products. The Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) endorses and acts as advisors to the awards program. As part of its full suite of marketing-based MMRM software tools, mBLAST is providing a complete web-based awards management solution to the show for handling both the nomination and judging process. Products are nominated using mBLAST's online web software, and all product and company information for the nomination is captured by mBLAST without requiring paper submission, faxes, or multiple emails. Similarly, the judges for the awards can review all nominations over the Web from anywhere around the world. mBLAST's Awards Program Management capabilities consolidate the entire flow of information between vendors, the tradeshow, and its judges into a single online workflow. Award honorees will be announced at the 2008 International CES New York Press Preview, November 13, 2007 in New York. Innovations honoree products will be on display at the 2008 International CES in Las Vegas, January 7-10, 2008.
